Terms of Service

Last updated: May 19, 2026

1. Who we are

Sled (“Sled”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Arda Kaan Özcan, an individual operating from the Republic of Türkiye. Sled is provided through the website at usesled.com and any related subdomains.

For any question about these Terms, write to hey@ardakaanozcan.com.

2. What you’re agreeing to

By creating an account or otherwise using Sled, you agree to these Terms. If you’re using Sled on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to both you and that organization.

If you don’t agree, don’t use Sled.

3. What Sled does

Sled is a multi-tenant affiliate-program platform: you create an affiliate program, your affiliates sign up, share referral links, and we attribute conversions and calculate commissions when your billing provider (Polar.sh, Stripe, or any service that POSTs webhooks) reports a sale.

Sled doesn’t process payments, doesn’t hold funds on your behalf, and doesn’t pay affiliates on your behalf. You handle payouts to your affiliates yourself, through whatever method you choose. We just track who’s owed what.

4. Your account

Accounts use magic-link authentication — no passwords. You’re responsible for the email address tied to your account and for any activity that happens through it. Tell us immediately at hey@ardakaanozcan.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may have one tenant (affiliate program) per account on the Free and Pro plans. Multiple programs require separate accounts.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sled to:

  • Run an affiliate program for illegal products or services under the laws of Türkiye or the jurisdiction of your customers
  • Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk email through our infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract Sled’s source code beyond what is permitted under our AGPL-3.0 license
  • Probe, scan, or test for vulnerabilities without prior written authorization
  • Generate artificial clicks, conversions, or commission events to defraud anyone — including yourself, your billing provider, or your affiliates
  • Re-sell, sublicense, or resell access to the hosted version of Sled as a competing service

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, with or without notice, if the conduct presents a legal, financial, or operational risk.

6. Billing

The Free plan is free indefinitely, subject to the limits described on the pricing page. Paid plans (currently Pro) are billed monthly through Polar.sh, our merchant of record.

Polar handles the payment, collects applicable taxes, issues the invoice, and stores your payment method. Sled never sees or stores card details. By subscribing, you also agree to Polar’s terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel any time from the billing page in your dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.

7. The code is AGPL, the service is ours

Sled’s source code is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and is publicly available. You may self-host Sled, modify it, and run your own programs on your own infrastructure under the AGPL terms.

The hosted service at usesled.com — including the Sled name and logo, our infrastructure, customer support, and any non-source assets — is owned by Arda Kaan Özcan and is not part of the AGPL grant. Use of the hosted service is governed by these Terms.

8. Your data is yours

You own the data you put into Sled — your tenant configuration, your affiliates, your clicks, your conversions, your payouts. We act as a data processor for that information. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

We will not sell your data, will not share it with third parties except the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy (which we need to operate the service), and will hand it back to you on request in a machine-readable format at any time.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime, latency, or that the service will be free of bugs. Sled is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any data you would not want to lose.

We may make changes to the service, including discontinuing features, with reasonable notice. Material changes affecting paid plans will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Turkish law, Sled and Arda Kaan Özcan disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Sled — whether in contract, tort, or any other theory — is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Sled in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Turkish law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arda Kaan Özcan and Sled from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights — including, especially, your relationship with your own affiliates and customers.

12. Termination

You can stop using Sled and delete your account at any time. We can terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, non-payment of fees, or if continued service is no longer commercially or legally viable.

Sections that by their nature should survive (Sections 7–13, and any provision regarding payment, indemnification, liability, or governing law) survive termination.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The İstanbul Çağlayan Courts and Enforcement Offices have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Sled. Where local consumer-protection law gives you rights that cannot be contractually waived, those rights continue to apply.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the change is material, we’ll notify you by email (to the address on your account) at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of Sled after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
